Natural Foods began as a sole trader in 1986 as a family owned and managed business. As it grew, it was then incorporated in 1991 as Natural Foods (Donegal) Ltd trading as Natural Foods and in later years Donegal Natural Foods. As a result of a continued increase in demand in 2002 we moved into our current premises at Tirconaill Street in Donegal Town which allowed us to increase our production further. In June 2023 we restructured the company and transferred the trade to our new company Natural Select Produce Ltd. We continue to trade as Donegal Natural Foods or Natural Foods.
Our warehouse includes our own on-site packaging facility. At our warehouse and packaging facility we aim to achieve a high standard of efficiency, hygiene, quality control and customer care. We are HSE registered and we currently have in place a comprehensive HACCP plan which is compliant with current regulations.
The products we currently provide include Nuts, Snacks, Confectionery, Cereals, Dried Fruits, Seeds and Pulses. We are stocked in a variety of stores nationwide and we are listed with several Central Billing Companies. We provide our own display stands which we merchandise at regular intervals depending on demand. Our labelling is compliant with current legislation.
